| Dartex Coatings |
|

Dartex supplies transfer coated fabrics and laminates, which can be
used in areas such as healthcare, seating, sailing and outdoor
protective wear. The company operates in both the UK and the
USA and was acquired by Harris Watson Holdings in 2001. |
|

Dartex’s anti-decubitus support surfaces are
specifically designed to prevent pressure sores.
Using two/four way stretch properties, interface
pressures are reduced and the optimum surface
support for the body is achieved: patient
comfort is therefore greatly enhanced. |
|

Through their
patented process a controlled amount of air is allowed to
pass through the fabric and garment at low rates (usually
5-10cfm), to dissipate heat and perspiration, whilst keeping
you still warm. |
|

Dartex can
produce fabrics that comply with the High visibility
requirements of ANSI107 and EN 471, as referenced in BS EN
343 (workwear standard). These shades comply with the
exacting colour co-ordinates and luminosity specifications
for protective workwear. |
