- Hydrogas® is an external suspension solution combining both spring and damping functions. Being an external suspension solution, Hydrogas® is a bolt on bolt off design. The pneumatic spring system has a progressive spring rate and often removes the need for additional hydraulic bump stops. A further development on the Hydrogas® design is the InArm® version which incorporates the pneumatic spring and damper within the road arm itself thereby requiring the minimum space claim.
- A further development on the Hydrogas® design is the InArm® version which incorporates the pneumatic spring and damper within the road arm itself thereby requiring the minimum space claim. The spring element can be supplied as a single spring characteristic or as a dual spring rate. Dual spring rates offer the advantage of a stiffer rate around static to increase vehicle platform stability.
- Integral rotary dampers wrap around the road wheel pivot shaft for new tracked vehicles. The absorbed damping energy is dissipated into the vehicle hull as heat and their damping capacity is much greater than that of alternative solutions such as a linear damping system. Integral rotary dampers are designed to work in conjunction with a torsion bar spring. They offer the advantage of fitting into the running gear and are integral to the vehicle hull.
- Hydrostrut® is an external suspension solution for wheeled and tracked vehicles. The suspension unit combines both the spring and damping functions in a lightweight self-contained design which has the added advantage of having a small volume footprint. For wheeled vehicles, Hydrostrut® units can be used on trailing arm, leading arm, McPherson and wishbone arrangements. On tracked vehicles the arrangement is typically trailing arm but can also be used in a bogie arrangement.
- Lever arm rotary dampers offer a bolt on damping solution for new and retrofit vehicles. The absorbed damping energy is dissipated into the vehicle hull as heat and their damping capacity is much greater than that of alternative solutions such as a linear damping system. Lever arm rotary dampers are designed to work in conjunction with a torsion bar spring. They offer the advantage of fitting into the existing running gear.
