The Horstman company is based in Bath and was acquired by Harris Watson group in 2001.  The company specialises in mobility systems, military and naval equipment and high pressure vessels.  To improve design capability a powerful 3D computer is used enabling model prototype designs to be developed quickly in a virtual environment.

One of the most successful suspension solutions in terms of production quantities is the Hydrogas® hydropneumatic suspension wheel station. Approximately 30,000 of these units have been manufactured around the world.

The InArm® Hydrogas® suspension wheel station uses the proven technology from the Hydrogas® range and optimized for minimal volume, low weight, high performance and low cost of ownership.

Hydrostrut® is a telescopic hydropneumatic suspension solution. The product combines the proven advantages of a pneumatic spring and hydraulic damper in a lightweight self-contained package that can be readily adapted to both wheeled and tracked vehicles.
