AGI Launch New Maritime Navigation System

AGI have launched a new combined Ship’s Speed Log & Meteorological System for the maritime industry.
Nav-IS (Navigation Information System) incorporates a suite of sensors providing measurement of ship’s speed through the water, distance travelled, wind speed & direction, air temperature, humidity, air pressure and sea temperature. Utilising the latest proven and in service solid state sensor technology, this innovative, accurate and cost-effective system has been developed for a wide range of applications from ocean-going merchant and passenger vessels to offshore patrol craft and naval support vessels.
The system exceeds the requirements of EN60945 & EN61023 and is compliant with IMO resolutions A.478 and A.824.
